Out with the old, in with the new. My old washer has been leaking from my laundry room into my bathroom on the other side of the wall, time for a new one. I didn't want to spend $400 on a new one so I found this one on KSL, it was so clean, the mom I bought it from is an amazing housekeeper, so I was totally pleased. Plus, it was only $100 ,after negotiations, with detergent included. We picked it up (dad & I) and my hubby put it in the basement and got the other one out and put it on the street with a note that said FREE WORKS LEAKS A BIT and what do you know it was gone after 6 days. Awesome!
So, after it sat there for 4-5 days my husbands' friend sees it and says, "I wish I knew you needed a washer, 'cause we just gave our 2 year old one's away in order to move." It's amazing how guys don't talk about that kind of stuff, these guys have talked at least twice a day but never mentioned it, not a surprise.

I guess I didn't know people got rid of machines that still worked. What do you know.
I just thought you were starting ot do laundry on the sidewalk. Wouldn't surprise me.
You must understand, guys don't think about the wash until they have to. That is when there are no more clean clothes in the closet, no dirty clothes on the floor, and clothes from the hamper have been pulled out and worn twice. That is why the washer leaked for sooo long... and besides a new washer is not a great idea like hanging bags of water around to keep flies away.
Yeah!!! Isn't it amazing the things that enthrall us when we're married with children?
I want a new washer. Mine leaked from my laundry room to the bathroom too-but it was easily fixed, there go my hopes for a new one. The repair man told me I needed to not fill it so full. It is an extra large capacity washer plus I have 4 kids, of course I am going to fill it too full.
Hey, we need an update.
